The Zoom Report

The Zoom Report

What follows is a synthesis of furiously captured notes from a meeting of our Moon Sisters Write collective.

A spell of liberation has been cast. We are creating worlds with care and tenderness. All offerings transmitted via this technology are received, be them poetry, prose, sounds, images or what more is to come. Aspirations are watered. Accomplishments are seen. Weird shit is welcome. The quirky and the dark belong here. Whatever is moving through, anything that wants or needs to be welcomed will be.

Nobody has ever seen anything like it, and we know it reverberates far beyond our interpersonal connection.

We are pulling at each other’s real truth. Do not hold back. Write the words, create the thing. We love the big risks. This yearning for realness and vulnerability conjures the erotic, the expression of life force. This is hot, a nakedness of the spirit received without judgment. Then comes the choir ME TOO, expressed in response or known by our practice. Isolation shatters, connection and belonging fill the cracks. The exhilarating rawness and depth of goodness takes our breath away. What is better than aliveness? Dreaming one another’s freedom, the vibration pulsates long after contact.

Together we decolonize healing, listening to the call of indigenous wisdom that our fate is shared beyond what we can see or understand.

We share the experience of what has been described for generations as womanhood. Womanhood may be something from our past that we want contact with through this space, or something we came to later in life. We are diverse in our gender expressions, sexualities, ethnicities, ages, races, religions and so much more. This diversity is unlimited and fundamental to our engagement of this buried wisdom, these plain sight gems that suddenly appear everywhere. We are discovering womanhood, and all that is beyond this ancient structure for that energy which can not be contained.

This is a place for intuitive knowing. We are uncovering insights that have been buried or suppressed, a collective tag team that would likely be invisible to an outside observer. Women in patriarchy have been suppressed or hidden. We uncover this knowing and power by being with it. There is active receiving. We are writing the words from one another’s soul, uncovering the magic beneath.

This is not a random group of women. We share commitment to understanding patriarchy, white supremacy, and all systems of oppression. We share trust in each other and invite individual sovereignty as expression of shared reality. Our quest for understanding our collective interior, makes this space special. There is never a need to help or fix. We are peers, and just as we could be found in the Red Tent we could be found going to battle on horses carrying fire and spears.

This is a dream come true.
