Unleashing Potential in West Africa
Client: Tostan International
Role: Communications and Engagement Strategy
The purpose of the development team was to engage Tostan’s global community of stakeholders in events and stories that inspire investment. Tostan, an NGO established in 1991 and headquartered in Dakar, Senegal, works to empower rural and remote African communities to bring about positive social transformation and sustainable development through a holistic empowering education program.
My work was to design a remote team structure, decide key positions needed, and on-board new staff. We produced multi-media publications with global thought leaders, created interactive digital forums for field building and engagement. We facilitated collaborative messaging sessions with leaders across the network to be relevant across the world.
Scaling Systems Change
The Scaling Systems Change Webinar series helped Tostan to build the field of practice. This project increased subscription, visibility, and most of all, created resources for practitioners who want to change systems.
