Go Boston 2030

Client: City of Boston
Role: Director of Communications, Interaction Institute for Social Change

The City of Boston was looking for a creative way to get input from the public on transportation infrastructure, so they called the Interaction Institute for Social Change. The team assembled by Go Boston 2030 created “a new gold standard in public engagement”, employing such tactics as driving in a decorated glass truck to neighborhoods to ask residents about the future of transportation. Over 5,000 conversations with Boston residents became the backbone of the city’s priorities for the vision, which guides infrastructure and policy decisions.
